    What’s the difference between a Standard Subaccount and a Custodial Trading Subaccount?
    A Custodial Trading Subaccount is an account type that allows investors to entrust their funds to professional trading teams for asset management.

    A Standard Subaccount allows traders to manage smaller standalone Bybit accounts under a single Main Account to achieve certain trading objectives.



    As an investor, how can I find a trading team who can help me manage my assets?
    Investors will need to reach out to the trading team on their own. Please note that the trading team you partner with, will need to have a partnership with Bybit. 




    What should I do if there are any trade or order issues with my Custodial Trading Subaccount?
    If you encounter any issues with trading in a Custodial Trading Subaccount, please contact the trading team who manages your assets directly. 



    Are there any fees involved in creating and maintaining a Custodial Trading Subaccount?
    No. Creating and maintaining a Custodial Trading Subaccount won’t incur any fees.



    Do Custodial Trading Subaccounts have a minimum balance requirement?
    No. There is no minimum balance required. 



    Will the trading team be charged any fees for managing the assets in the investor's Custodial Trading Subaccounts?
    No. The trading team doesn’t charge any management fees.



    Does Bybit charge any fees for asset transfer between the Main Account and Custodial Trading Subaccounts?
    No. Asset transfer between the Main Account and Custodial Trading Subaccounts doesn’t incur any fees.



    Is there any KYC requirement for creating a Custodial Trading Subaccount?

    Yes, Individual KYC Lv. 1 or Business KYC is required. For more information on how to verify your account, please refer to How to Complete Individual KYC Verification.



    Which assets can be transferred to a Custodial Trading Subaccount?
    All coins listed under the Assets page can be transferred to a Custodial Trading Subaccount.
    Please note that only USDT Perpetual, Inverse Perpetual, Inverse Futures and Spot trading are supported. Currently, Custodial Trading Subaccounts aren’t available for USDC Perpetuals and USDC Options.



    What’s the maximum number of Custodial Trading Subaccounts allowed? 
    Investors can create up to 10 Custodial Trading Subaccounts. For a trading team, the default is a maximum of 20 Custodial Trading Subaccounts.



    Will the investor's Custodial Trading Subaccount enjoy the same VIP level and trading fee rates as the trading team?
    Yes. During the period when an investor’s Custodial Trading Subaccount is managed by the trading team, trades made under an investor’s Custodial Trading Subaccount will reflect the same trading fee rate and VIP level of the main account of the trading team so that the investor may enjoy the same favorable trading fee rates. 



    Can investors log in to their Custodial Trading Subaccount to trade?
    No. Investors are not allowed to log in to the Custodial Trading Subaccount to place an order through the PC or App trading page. 



    Can investors view the order or trade history of the Custodial Trading Subaccount?
    No. Investors cannot view trade and order history. This restriction is put in place to protect the trading strategies of the trading team.



    Can investors deposit, withdraw and transfer assets in a Custodial Trading Subaccount?
    The Custodial Trading Subaccount only supports the transfer of assets between the Main Account (Spot Account) and the Custodial Trading Subaccount (Spot Account). All deposits and withdrawals need to be performed via the investor’s Main Account.

    During the period when the investors’ Custodial Trading Subaccount is managed by the trading team, it’s recommended that investors communicate with the trading team in advance before performing asset operations to avoid disputes.

    Can the trading team withdraw assets from the Custodial Trading Subaccount?
    No. The trading team cannot withdraw funds from the Custodial Trading Subaccount.

     



    If the trading team manages multiple Custodial Trading Subaccounts for an investor, can the trading team transfer funds between these Custodial Trading Subaccounts?
    No. Any transfer of funds involving a Custodial Trading Subaccount must be made through an investor's Main Account.

     



    Can I bind/unbind Google Authenticator for my Custodial Trading Subaccount?
    Google Authenticator verification is not supported for Custodial Trading Subaccounts.



    Can I change the Custodial Trading Subaccount's username after it’s been created?
    No. The username for a Custodial Trading Subaccount can’t be changed once it’s been created.



    Can I delete my Custodial Trading Subaccounts? 
    Yes. Custodial Trading Subaccounts can be deleted. To delete your Custodial Trading Subaccount, click on Settings
    Delete Subaccount on the Subaccount page.

    Can a Custodial Trading Subaccount be registered as an Affiliate Account? 
    No. Only your Main Account can be registered as an Affiliate Account. 



    Will the P&L from my Custodial Trading Subaccount(s) merge with my Main Account?
    No. The P&L of Custodial Trading Subaccounts is segregated from the Main Account.
