Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you — as a seller — start your first P2P HotSwap transaction on Bybit.

 

 

 

Step 1: Launch the Bybit App, log in to your account, and tap on Buy Crypto located on the home page.
 

 

 

Step 2: Place your order by following these steps:

1. Click on Sell to navigate to the page where you placed a sell order.
2. By Quantity: Choose the coin you want to pay with, or

By Amount: Select the fiat currency you'd like to receive in your Funding Account.

3. Enter the sell amount, either in fiat currency or coin amount, based on your preference.
4. Select your preferred P2P payment method.
5. Click on Sell [Coin].
6. Acknowledge the P2P HotSwap Transaction Service Agreement.
7. Click on Confirm to create your order.

 

 

Step 3: During the pending process, the buyer will have 15 minutes to complete the payment.

 

 

Please tap on Contact Buyer to access the P2P Order Chat Box, which allows for seamless real-time communication with buyers.

 

 

Step 4: 

a. Once you’ve successfully received your payment from the buyer, click on Release Now to release your coins. You will be asked to enter your Google Two Factor Authentication code as a verification step.

 

Please make sure you've received the funds from the buyer before ticking the confirmation box and releasing your coins.

b. Order transaction has failed:

1) If the buyer fails to complete the payment within 15 minutes, the order will automatically be canceled. The coins reserved on the P2P platform will also automatically be returned to your Funding Account. Please note that in this case, your coin will not be converted into a stablecoin.

 

2) If the buyer has clicked on Payment Completed, but the order creation time exceeds 15 minutes and the order is eventually canceled, the coin you would like to sell will be converted into an equivalent stablecoin (such as USDT) based on conversion rate and returned to your Funding Account.

Submit Your Appeal 

If the buyer fails to complete the payment but has clicked on Payment Completed, you can click on Submit Appeal.
